I just bought some unusual Lego parts from eBay. They are some strange sort of pillow block with spring suspension. They are black on the outside, and they have a white slider on the inside. I finally got my clock to run for a solid 24 hours (plus only a few more minutes until the weights hit the floor.). It ran the whole period non-stop, and I didn't touch it until it finished its run. It was 15 minutes slow by the end of this period, (...) (25 years ago, 29-Jan-01, to lugnet.technic)

I think Pitsco has a pack that includes them too. I have around a dozen I think I got that way. Better stock up, I think Lego is completely phasing out all parts with the spline system. The splined long thin plates are gone (what will future (...) (25 years ago, 27-Jan-01, to lugnet.technic)
