I can't bring myself to like the 8480, as I found it a pain to build. I also
dislike the fibre optics - they are a little naff. Apart from that, when
built it is quite good. It is also good to be able to put minifigs in it -
it is a pity more technic sets are not on the same scale (one for dear lego
I think). The 8460 is pretty good to build, but there is just too much
friction in all those moving parts for me. However, if one takes it easy
with it, it is pretty good.
1. 8868 Airtech Claw Rig (yawn)
Because it is a great set when built, and a great set to build.
2. 8482 Technic Cybermaster
Because I've have just started with this, and I rather like it. I like it
and all my kids like it!
3. 8094 Technic Control Center
I have recently rediscovered this one. All the models are pretty good, and
allow themselves to be directly converted to Mindstorms with ease.
