Amazingly the only 2 LEGO pieces I remember breaking were the 2x4 Technic
Brick we used as the hitch to the sled and one of the small beveled gears
which stripped under the load of several engines.

I've exploded the 8 teeth gears before now...never had any problem with the
bigger ones, but the 8 teeth gears would occasionally just sever in 2 pieces,
and everything would grind to a stop...it'd be a major bummer, because it was
always one you couldn't get to without major disassembly :)

(this was NOT using a Lego motor, using a fairly hefty can motor, and 12V to
drive it with...in the days of the 4.5V motor)
