Just a quick question... I have an old 8858 Engines set (A reward I got for good grades on my 3rd grade report card :) It originally had 3 black rubber bands to serve as belts, but 2 are long broken and the 3rd isn't in great shape. Has anyone (...) (25 years ago, 22-Apr-00, to lugnet.technic)

I think the cheapest set to get the fiber optic kit is the Extreme Creature for Mindstorms. However, as somebody mentionned, you won't get the power source and the motor to rotate it. If you already have a technic motor, you can go ahead and buy the (...) (25 years ago, 20-Apr-00, to lugnet.technic)

I've just bought two ZNAP kits on TRU buy one get one 50% off. I think it's a good deal, I got two motors with two battery boxes and wires, some flexible axles, and tons of ZNAP pieces for $30. I have no regrets, but I find the ZNAP pieces VERY (...) (25 years ago, 19-Apr-00, to lugnet.technic)
