| | Sorry if this has been hashed over before, but I am new to the group. Has anyone located a source or specifications (material, ID, OD) for the Lego pneumatic tubing? I find that the lengths provided with the standard sets is inadequate for some of (...) (25 years ago, 11-Mar-00, to lugnet.technic)

| | | | The best I've found for replacement tubing is from a hobby shop that carries model air planes (the really big ones). The fuel tubing they use is perfect, bring a pneumatic cylinder w/you for an exact fit. They have "T"s too!!! Tube isn't cheap tho, (...) (25 years ago, 11-Mar-00, to lugnet.technic)

| | | | | (...) Hmm, service packs have about 5 feet of tube and 4 T's for 3.25, which is cheaper that the ~$5.15 for the fuel line and T's. I guess if you need continuous lengths the fuel line might be worth it, but otherwise... I'm not sure what the desired (...) (25 years ago, 12-Mar-00, to lugnet.technic)

Try the Omega scientific supply catalog: (URL) not sure what their shipping poilicies are, since they usually deal with labs and factories and places like that, so they might have a minimum order. | | | | I've found something .... in my basement!!! :) Thinking about where I got it, I realize that this must be "real" pneumatic tubing. It is a clear blue color, with the inner diameter slightly smaller than the Lego type, and the outer diameter a bit (...) (25 years ago, 13-Mar-00, to lugnet.technic)

| | | | Hello, I have just subscribed to this newsgroup therefore this late answer. (...) In Denmark older bicycles have vents that uses a small piece of rubber tube. I think this rubber tube is the same size at "Lego tubes". I haven't triet it as I just (...) (25 years ago, 29-Apr-00, to lugnet.technic)

| | | | (...) 1/8 ID Vinal (sp) tubing is available here in Canada often in the plumbing section of the hardware store, cost is .17/ft. It is not as good a fit as the lego tubing, but it has the advantage of being cheap. If your hardware store does not (...) (25 years ago, 29-Apr-00, to lugnet.technic)
