Re: Large arch bridge geometry - help!

(...) Pedro, I found it easier to think in terms of beam length, rather than angles. If you have a good profile view of the bridge, one way is to overlay it with graph paper (or just use a ruler) to measure the beam lengths, then match them as (...) (22 years ago, 4-Jul-02, to lugnet.technic)

Large arch bridge geometry - help!

Hi all, I am attempting to design a large ached bridge with technic parts, and this means I'll need plenty of reading on the subject of beam-geometry. Can any of you guys help me out in my research? The thing that is giving me the biggest headache (...) (22 years ago, 4-Jul-02, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.loc.pt)

  Where is Ta-Koro located???

My question is quite simple: Where is Ta-Koro situated. In the Bionicle Lexcion on www.bionicle.com is stated: "Ta-Koro: Tahu's village, located in the lake of fire within the Mangai volcano." On the same site when I open the map of Mata Nui and go (...) (22 years ago, 3-Jul-02, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

  Re: Where's the Technic???

I was wondering the same thing about the Mindstorms section (which was stuck in a small corner of the Spybotics spread). Gee, Lego dumping that line too? -Rob "Adrian Egli" <adr.egli@worldnet.att.net> wrote in message news:GyLo7z.1wp@lugnet.com... (...) (22 years ago, 2-Jul-02, to lugnet.technic)

  Where's the Technic???

I just got my Summer 2K2 SAH catalog (has Galidor on the cover) and was expecting to see some good stuff, especially Technic. What a downer! I really wanted to see was a picture of the BMW-Williams F1 racer based on the Silver Champion (w/ a (...) (22 years ago, 2-Jul-02, to lugnet.technic)

Re: 4589 - RC Nitro Flash

So, basically, it sounds like this set is worth about as much as the current price on the old R/C car. No real usable technic parts. Minimum RCX playability. No real replayability. What about alternate models? Maybe we can just hack the inards and (...) (22 years ago, 30-Jun-02, to lugnet.technic)

(...) I meant that it isn't a Technic set and there aren't Technic mechanical parts used in its operation. (...) I did that, and I don't think there is one, I think it's a solid rear cross axle drive tube, but without opening it and 100% verifying (...) (22 years ago, 29-Jun-02, to lugnet.technic)

  4589 - RC Nitro Flash

For any one out there who may be interested, It doesn't say Technic on the box, so this may be the wrong place to post. The 4589 system is compatible with the Manas remote control system. There are a few detail changes on the transmitter like the (...) (22 years ago, 29-Jun-02, to lugnet.technic)

Re: MOC: Minifig scale mining grader

(...) Hey. that's a nice grader. I'd put it right up with the one James M did way back when. If i had a criticis it would be that the wheels may be a bit small for the scale(although prototype grader wheels have been getting smaller lately) (22 years ago, 29-Jun-02, to lugnet.town, lugnet.technic)

Onua Nuva and Lewa Nuva on non-USA shop at home VERY early

2 of the Nuva sets have made a very early apperance on Lego Shop at Home. Set 8566 and 8567 (Onua and Lewa) can now be ordered in the UK, but not even pre-order in the USA.
