  Re: New Parts

Well, my little TAIG based machine is now doing production work hollowing out bricks and assemblies of various different sizes. I did a batch of 120 bricks the other night. It would have taken me a week on my manually operated mill. Brick hollowing (...) (22 years ago, 24-Apr-02, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: New Parts

(...) By the way, I spoke to a Roland salesman. Although their machines have the nice digitizing features, they don't have anything in the price/performance range that Taig addresses. (22 years ago, 24-Apr-02, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Black Gold???

(...) I was going to say that I'm surprized that there are any black beams left in the world ;-) I figured that if anyone wanted black beams, they'd be going to you first. TJ (22 years ago, 24-Apr-02, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Black Gold???

(...) The price is $3.99 US. Listed under item # 5235, and if you are scrolling through the shop, it is under accessories/bricks => lego technic => special. (Though, I am not quite sure why it isn't also in Technic section, it is only under this (...) (22 years ago, 24-Apr-02, to lugnet.technic)

(...) I don't think I'll be needing any for a while 8?) Just as a matter of interest, what price were they asking? I get "no price listed" on the Aussie site. ROSCO (22 years ago, 24-Apr-02, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Black Gold???

(...) Okay, so maybe this is just the beginning! Perhaps there are more old accessory packs to come? Does anyone remember when this happened last year in Europe (the old service packs that Lego wouldn't ship to the US)? It seems I remember someone (...) (22 years ago, 23-Apr-02, to lugnet.technic)

Technic Tower Crane MOC Addendum (flexible attachments)

After some fooling around with the red magnets from Mars Exploration Expansion sets, I managed to make 4 new interesting attachments for my Technic Tower Crane - a hook (my favorite), an I beam, a clamshell digger and a cement mixer, all of which (...) (22 years ago, 22-Apr-02, to lugnet.technic)

Re: my thoughts on a technic legend

(...) This is true. A lot of the early technic sets include parts which have changes, or which are no longer produced. Other examples include the 24 teeth gear cog, which used to have two additional cross axle holes, making them more prone to (...) (22 years ago, 22-Apr-02, to lugnet.technic)

Re: Infected Maskes in 8525 Bionicle Masks

Another 'new' Model added to my website

When I was busy with changing little things to my website I decided to add a ‘new’ model: this Scania R143EL8x4/4. It actually isn’t a new model. Those who visited the Modelshow Europe in ’96 have already seen it. Read all about this model on my (...) (22 years ago, 21-Apr-02, to lugnet.modelteam, lugnet.build, lugnet.technic)

(...) I don't think you can get anymore trans-green mirus at Legoland anymore. Your best bet is to get one on Brickbay or something similar. you can also try BZcommunity too. (22 years ago, 21-Apr-02, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

  Re: Getting Gear Ratios Right

(...) Hi Rob, I have the book. As a matter of fact, it was this book that prompted the post. Unfortunately the Master got it wrong: on page 39 and the diagrams on pages 46-50.
