  Re: New mask pack security

(...) Yeah, that's been noted before. The non-perforated boxes started appearing a while ago, although the perforated ones are still around. Personally, I don't support the opening of boxes that are on the shelf, but that doesn't stop me from taking (...) (23 years ago, 4-Feb-02, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

Re: Lego Links Up with BMW Williams Formula 1 Team!!!!

So much for my hopes for a decent new model this year. Is this the way to go Lego? Re-issue a set in different colours? Until I saw the pics (is that a slightly different rear wing there?) I was hoping for a model team F1 racer..... Duq Chris Fenter (...) (23 years ago, 1-Feb-02, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.year.2002)

  Technic parts from Alphateam Q

Does anyone know what the Bricklink (Brickbay) description is for those black propeller housings (round cylinders with a bar through the middle?) from the Ogel Base? Are they technic? Darth Joules (23 years ago, 3-Feb-02, to lugnet.technic)

  New mask pack security

My apologies if this has been posted before. I'm not much of a Bionicle fan, but every now and then I check them out when I'm looking at other LEGO. I've bought a few different Bionicle sets and several mask packs for my younger brother (who loves (...) (23 years ago, 3-Feb-02, to lugnet.technic.bionicle, lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: Scans for dark-side developer

(...) Nah, uses mostly standard liftarm parts, including the 1x15 ones in the legs. I agree with John to a point that its a bit rickety, but mine seems to walk OK - its even able to step up at the edge of the rug! Considering the feet don't lift (...) (23 years ago, 2-Feb-02, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Scans for dark-side developer

I am normally very impressed with the quality of the design which appears in Lego sets, particularly Technic, with the possible exception of some of the sloppier steering mechanisms. But I was very much unimpressed with the AT walker legs. They are (...) (23 years ago, 1-Feb-02, to lugnet.technic)

  RE: Scans for dark-side developer

Haven't got any scans, but I was looking at this beastie very recently in a top shop display. It would seem that the 'Technic Liftarm 1 x 7 x 3 with Gears (32311)' plays a pretty major part in the mechanism. Also, there is a very clear picture of (...) (23 years ago, 1-Feb-02, to lugnet.technic)

I can't get Pop Up Stopper to work. Please Help.

I downloaded the free version of Pop Up Stopper. After double checking the settings and clearing out the cache and restarting the computer the software still does not work. How did you get it to work? (23 years ago, 1-Feb-02, to lugnet.technic)

  RE: compact designs

(...) head, (...) But don't forget to wear protective goggles - I'd hate to see anyone get one of the 'teeth' of that 14t bevel gear in their eye as it shears under the strain. I reckon in not much more space (as it's sort of L shape looking from (...) (23 years ago, 1-Feb-02, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: compact designs

(...) If the motor is spinning at 350 RPM, then the final output will rotate at about 0.17 RPM (with a 1:2016 reduction), ignoring friction losses. That's pretty slow. If you ignore frictin losses then the torque output will be 1210 ft*lb! (assuming (...) (23 years ago, 1-Feb-02, to lugnet.technic)
