In lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, Jeff Van Winden writes:
what is it!!!!

Its a ~1026:1 gear ratio in an area of 4 x 5 x 4 bricks!!!!!
worm to 14 tooth (the old bevel gears, maybe those were the 12 tooth ones)
to worm to 14 tooth to worm to 14 tooth to worm.....

Of course I some one in the ldraw group suggested that that much torque
would probably shred those old flimsy gears....

If you rtltoronto guys would read other newsgroups, you'd know what was
going on ;-)

The gear train has a 1:2016 reduction ratio. It has a worm-to-12 bevel,
worm-to-12 bevel, and worm-to-14 bevel (12*12*14 = 2016).
