what is it!!!!
Its a ~1026:1 gear ratio in an area of 4 x 5 x 4 bricks!!!!!
worm to 14 tooth (the old bevel gears, maybe those were the 12 tooth ones)
to worm to 14 tooth to worm to 14 tooth to worm.....
Of course I some one in the ldraw group suggested that that much torque
would probably shred those old flimsy gears....

| (...) If you rtltoronto guys would read other newsgroups, you'd know what was going on ;-) (URL) gear train has a 1:2016 reduction ratio. It has a worm-to-12 bevel, worm-to-12 bevel, and worm-to-14 bevel (12*12*14 = 2016). TJ (23 years ago, 1-Feb-02, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, lugnet.technic)
