  Bohrok Spotting-Encino, California

The Bohrok known as Nuhvok was spotted on an independent toy store shelf yesterday in Encino, California. Six copies were on the shelf @ $9.99 each. The invasion has begun. -D- (23 years ago, 22-Jan-02, to lugnet.technic.bionicle, lugnet.year.2002)

  Re: New MOC: Articulated Tractor

(...) Thanks! I appreciate your comments. (...) I need to try driving over rough surfaces and inclines. I'm curious too. The large "power puller" wheels really helped too. They were a big improvement over the old solid 24x43 wheels. (...) I may make (...) (23 years ago, 21-Jan-02, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: New MOC: Articulated Tractor

(...) Thanks! I wish I could get the tractor to look more realistic, but I think this is more of a Technic creation than a Modelteam model. (...) I created a quick model of the transmission: www.texbrick.com/cre...gears.html It doesn't show the (...) (23 years ago, 21-Jan-02, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Finaly

(...) looking out for the finished article. Hopefully you'll adopt a filled in body style rather than technic style but of course that's upto you.   Re: New MOC: Articulated Tractor

I agree with the others it's a great looking tractor, realistic and conforming to the prototype being modeled. It's also great puller. I reckon it would have great off-road performance because it would conform to the ground and has 4 weel drive (...) (23 years ago, 21-Jan-02, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: New MOC: Articulated Tractor

That's cool, but not really the same thing. Pulling a 12kg object with wheels under it (like you're Garbage Truck ) requires some amount of force, but it is *much* less than lifting that same 12kg in an arrangement like the one that Thomas used to (...)   Re: New MOC: Articulated Tractor

(...) 3 kg doesn't seem like a lot of weight, but it's quite a bit in relation to Lego models. It's impressive to try and hold the model back with my hands. It feels like it's pulling more than 3 kg. The tractor is too compact. It's nearly solid (...) (23 years ago, 21-Jan-02, to lugnet.technic)
