For several years I have build a garbage truck. It weighs around 12 kg and
is 85 cm long.
Last autumn I build a little chassis which should become a tractor . I used
the powerpuller wheels as the rear wheels. Quite impressive if I may say so.
I showed both these models at LEGO World 2001 in Zwolle, the Netherlands. I
tried to let the tractor chassis pull the garbage truck. I was surprised to
see it was able to pull the 12 kilograms... Lego is quite capable to pull a
lot of weight, but you have to build it strong enough.
It sounds I am braging, but I am not...

| That's cool, but not really the same thing. Pulling a 12kg object with wheels under it (like you're Garbage Truck ) requires some amount of force, but it is *much* less than lifting that same 12kg in an arrangement like the one that Thomas used to (...) (23 years ago, 21-Jan-02, to lugnet.technic)
