  Annoucing a project

I am currently in the process of building an animatiable Kopaka in POV-Ray, and will then do the other Toas probably. So far...I have one arm...lol Tim (23 years ago, 21-Nov-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

hazards of heavy lifting (Re: Crawler Crane MOC)

(...) Yes, be very careful! The ideal condition that a crane builder wants is that upon maximum load, the crane starts to tip over rather than break. When the crane starts to tip, you can immediately stop the lift and all is saved. However, if (...) (23 years ago, 21-Nov-01, to lugnet.modelteam, lugnet.technic)

  Re: MATA NUI UPDATED AGAIN!

(...) It did a couple of times and then I discovered that Matau was still a prisoner of the Rahi ... most confusing. I did the hive thing and when I got back, all mu little buddies had fallen out of the bag. Oops. Now I have to go fetch them again. (23 years ago, 21-Nov-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

  Re: Bohrok Speculation

I had an idea while going over the new update on boinicle.com. . . If the Toa Kaita fall to just the Manas what will happen when they face Makuta??? What if Makuta beats them then mabey the Bohrok have to pick up where the Toa failed. This is all (...) (23 years ago, 21-Nov-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

  Re: MATA NUI UPDATED AGAIN!

I'm sorry I didn't check the www.maskofdestiny.com story before I posted. Purple Dave and friends advise us to talk to the Tohunga between battles with the Rahi. I've had trouble getting them to speak before the next battle sequence begins, and it (...) (23 years ago, 20-Nov-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

  Re: Crawler Crane MOC

(...) Excellent work, Beat. Yet again, you've impressed us with another great model. Your boom construction is quite unique. Thanks for the close-up pictures, I'm able to see how you built it now.   Re: MATA NUI UPDATED AGAIN!

(...) This is precisely the same series of steps that I went through with the same results. You can also still use the flute to travel around the island. (23 years ago, 20-Nov-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

  Re: MATA NUI UPDATED AGAIN!

SPOILER WARNING! SPOILER WARNING! SPOILER WARNING! I'm not sure how this is supposed to "end" for now. I have found the following things happen once the Toa have vanished into the underworld: You see the "jungle". It is quiet. After a few moments, (...) I thought about making a winder, but nothing I came up with was small (...) (23 years ago, 19-Nov-01, to lugnet.technic)

Re: 2 speed gearbox for Silver Champion

(...) Well I cheated a bit - it only had 2 arms! But the idea was there! And it was really stable - the ring round the edge of the yellow gear slid on bricks, stopping the whole thing from tilting as the cam rotated. And I had to use string to (...) (23 years ago, 19-Nov-01, to lugnet.technic)

Re: 2 speed gearbox for Silver Champion

(...) Apparently, they've done them in silver... Has anybody tried building a DeLorean yet? I know someone POV-ray'd a regular brick one, but what about a working technic one?   Re: MATA NUI UPDATED AGAIN!

(...) Well, I've lost repeatedly. You find out you have been pushed back, but that you must try again. There doesn't seem to be an obvious upper limit to the number of times that you are allowed to lose. I also don't know what happens when you (...)
