  Re: In Search of...

(...) That Would be Incredibly appretiated! And if you cans by any chance spare some of the parts you may have extra(ie L Conectors, Cores, those Y shaped ones) Those are what I really need (24 years ago, 29-Mar-01, to lugnet.general, lugnet.loc.us.ny.bin, lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.technic, lugnet.technic.slizer)

  2001 Model

I just started following Technic Models to support my Robotics habit and have begun looking through some older catalogs. I have even purchased the Lego Tow Truck and the Space Shuttle from a couple of years past. However, I was wondering, is it me (...) (24 years ago, 29-Mar-01, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Pneumatics?

I would echo the sentiments of others who have replied. Save for the pneumatics pack from Lego Shop at Home, the Tow Truck is the best way to get started. Not only does it give you some great parts, it actually teaches you some very interesting uses (...) (24 years ago, 29-Mar-01, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: In Search of...

(...) My friend Jan Katanek is over in Germany and can get the Bionicle stuff. It wouldn't be that cheap (maybe $2 over MRSP plus shipping), but he can get it for you if you want it. His e-mail address is jan.katanek@gmx.de, and payment is not a (...) (24 years ago, 29-Mar-01, to lugnet.technic)

Trading 8735- for 8720-style motors, anyone?

I have a number of high speed (8720-style) motors, all in good condition. I am interested in getting my hands on some of the gear-reduced (8735-style) motors. Would anyone be interested in a trade? (If you look up the prices on Pitsco Dacta, you'll (...) (24 years ago, 29-Mar-01, to lugnet.technic)

Bionicle comic came with new UK club magazine today

I haven't read it yet, but it looks quite well produced and drawn. Huw (24 years ago, 29-Mar-01, to lugnet.loc.uk, lugnet.technic.bionicle)

  Rare mask in Article

Hi I decided to read my copy of Lego World Club (Jan/Feb 2001 - UK) issue tonight and i notice the following statement "Each of the Toa has to collect six Great Masks of Power to succeed. There are 72 masks in all. Twelve in six colours. Collect (...) (24 years ago, 28-Mar-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

  Re: How do I...

That shuttle was peanuts. Last night it took me a few hours to take the front of the Silver Champ apart. I actually think it took longer to take apart than it took to build.... Duq "Jennifer Clark" <jen@vulture.dmem.strath.ac.uk> wrote in message (...) (24 years ago, 28-Mar-01, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: In Search of...

A dollar store here in Binghamton NY still has some from last time I wiped out their stock (at 3 sets for a dollar I got all 100 they had). The sets I got were an even distribution. I'll look tonight after work for you. I'm going anyway to get more (...)   Re: How do I...

(...) I just took mine apart a week or two ago. Several portions of it are extremely difficult to get apart.. It might actually be easier to take apart the thing referenced in (URL) than it is to take apart the shuttle. The shuttle was also (...) (24 years ago, 28-Mar-01, to lugnet.technic)

  In Search of...

Throwbot/Slizer Amazon/Jungle and Jet/Judge. I really need to get some of these sets, and I dont care if they are Mint/Sealed, as long as most of the parts are there. I need at lkeast 3 of each, thought I can build up to it with whomever I can get. (...) (24 years ago, 28-Mar-01, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Friction Pins

The Technica site shows the different friction conncetors, but doesn't mention the change in plastic: (URL) site also has a list of most Technic elements: (URL) (24 years ago, 28-Mar-01, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: How do I...

(...) Yes! I remember this very well, in particular the top part of the gearbox was like this, which prove "awkward" when I tried to fix a few of the bevel gears embedded at the bottom. One of the lethal steps is here: (URL) Clark (24 years ago, 28-Mar-01, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Pre-1995 strong pieces/attachments

  Re: How do I...

(...) I see you've borrowed construction ideas from the Lego Technic Space Shuttle. I bought one second hand built up, and it was a complete b*gg@r to take apart, every part interlocked with another. Steve Lane (24 years ago, 28-Mar-01, to lugnet.technic)
