Na, got them at Buy 1 and get 1 free :-) The real price was £2 about 6DM, but 3 Kits = 3 Free ones Works out about 3DM each :-))) One thing i notice on Vakama, is the feet is the Grey Head piece found in 8530 is coloured red, same for his head (...) Today when i picked up my copy of 8540 Bionicle Vakama, i notice one of my 3 Axel looks like a spade? It seems to be crushed at one end.. swap out the key color pieces on your technic models? for instance, I just swapped out all the red on my 8448 with silver and black pieces, replacing those ghastly white chairs with some cool black leather ones...I used silver plate pieces for the (...) (24 years ago, 22-Mar-01, to lugnet.technic)

While the digits are base-6-ish they are used as base 10. i.e. "10", made up of a "1" and a "0", comes after "9". It would be kind of cool if it really were base 6, but no doubt Lego doesn't want to confuse the non-math inclined people out there. (...) (24 years ago, 22-Mar-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

To make LEGO properly hydraulic, some kind of real hydraulic fluid pumping system would be needed. And it would have to take either water or a special hydraulic fluid. The math symbols on the Bionicle dictionary indicate a base-6 system (heximal?). The numbers 0 through 5 are all based on a circle with a dot in the middle. 6 through (presumably) 12 are the same as the 0 through 5 but with a circle around the (...) This is really interesting. There are definite differences between pneumatic and hydraulic systems. I dreamed of Lego hydraulic systems before, but I have never anything of it. In real life pneumatic is not used where more than two position is accuired, and when it is done ither more pneumatic cylinders are placed after each other to make more fixed positions.
