(...) It wouldn't cause any problem. I use 6 AA NiMH batteries to power 9V Lego motors all the time without any ill effects. This includes the NXT motors, the RC Buggy motor, and the RC Trains motor. Both through the NXT brick and using a normal (...) (17 years ago, 24-May-07, to lugnet.technic)

(...) Connect a "6551 Electric Technic Pole Reverser" to the servos - if you can find them. I glued medium pulleys to the servo and stuck a normal technic axle through the whole thing. Agreed, The new part now fits the angle connector mould (excuse pun) but the good news is it should be available in the colour range that angle connectors are available in negating the need for multi coloured notched axle joiners. Didier, thank you for this knew info. Sadly, I have a feeling I think I now need to start to horde my old technic axle joiners. A cross axle extension (59443) has appeared and replace the old one (6538). 6538 : (URL) 59443 : (URL) (inventoried as 6538c in Peeron) This new element is simplier than the old (...) Nifty work there! It definetly looks fun, and makes me want to get some of those wheels. Without a differential, does it suffer on curves(1)? The new Lego remote-controlled (RC) trains use train wheels with Technic axle holes (only in the wheels connected to the motor, unfortunately).
