  Technic figures

Dear Lego, please continue mking Technic figures (I don't see them on shop@home anymore). I'd like it if the original 3-pack (with plain Technic smiley faces, a chair & wrench)were re-released; it would be a great mini-'classic' or Legend set. Even (...)   Technic MOC: DuckPro Automated Duck Assembly

(First of all, I hope I've set this to the proper newsgroups. I've never "announced" a project I've worked on before. So apologies in advance if I've posted to the wrong area!) I've had this idea for a few years. But I finally got around to building (...) (20 years ago, 24-Feb-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, lugnet.announce, lugnet.robotics, lugnet.technic, FTX) !!

Re: Studless 8448 Super Street Sensation

(...) Even though I don't own 8448 proper, I would contemplate it. I built a sorta 8448, now with studded chassis and studless body. I also eliminated the two remaining studded beams from the 8448 wing doors body. (I will put pics up, I swear! For (...) (20 years ago, 24-Feb-05, to lugnet.technic, FTX)

The arch is rather weak till you connect the deck. the deck and cable stays really tie everything together. (...) (20 years ago, 24-Feb-05, to lugnet.technic) !

  Studless 8448 Super Street Sensation

I am thinking of doing a completely studless version of the 8448 set keeping it the same size. Should I bother or just move onto something else? My next Custom car is definitly going to be yellow, and I going to spend the 80 bucks to get the wheels (...) (20 years ago, 24-Feb-05, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Great Ball Contraption modules

Philippe - I seem to be having some kind of problems with getting Internet Explorer to feed the file in question to realplayer, which seems unable to find the file I point it to. It's presumably because of some wacky configuration in IE or (...) (20 years ago, 22-Feb-05, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.technic)

  Re: Great Ball Contraption modules

I will admit to having spent a huge amount of time on the kugelbahn site. The kids love some of it, but find it a bit abstract, compared with the raw videos which were on Steve's site before the bandwidth was pulled. They did have a few ideas, and I (...) (...) Robert, I have downloaded the zip file, and loaded all models AOK in ML Cad. I have begun (about 10hrs ago) a publication with LPub just to see if it does work (I have 2GB RAM + 4GB Swap). Hopefully it does, currently the POV is working on the (...) (20 years ago, 22-Feb-05, to lugnet.technic, FTX)

Re: Radial Engine (and V8 crankshaft)

(...) I don't think it should be a major problem either, because the angle of the cylinder blocks on those mounts is wrong for a V8 anyway ;) (...) That could be a problem in shorter vehicles, but not insurmountable, I think. (...) Looks great - (...) (20 years ago, 22-Feb-05, to lugnet.technic, FTX)
