Re: My tribute to my first Technic Set

(...) This feature is the ultimate peeron feature and is always the example I give people to demonstrate the condition the LEGO online community has reached (and to watch their mouth drop :-). Two small notes: (that's for you Dan) 1) In my case I (...) (20 years ago, 25-Oct-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, lugnet.technic, lugnet.inv)

Re: My tribute to my first Technic Set

(...) Thanks for the info Dan! Never had an account at Peerin before--just set one up and am now good togo! I have extra treads if you need 'em--bought 13 service packs years ago when I was endeavouring to build a tank. Dave K (20 years ago, 25-Oct-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, lugnet.technic)

Re: My tribute to my first Technic Set

Re: My tribute to my first Technic Set

(...) Are you bringing these to the show? I'd like to see the bulldozer, having wanted one when i was a kid. I probably have all the parts to build one now, but that's not the same as having the actual set, and I'd like to see one that's together. (...) (...) Thanks for the memories... I remember by best friend got the 956....I begged and begged my parents to get me one too...and ended up with the 854...my first Technic set as well. Just rebuilt it myself a few months ago too... along with the (...) (20 years ago, 25-Oct-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, lugnet.technic)

(...) That much is certain. They look a little nekkid without the number. I have a label maker at work and I'll get the numbers printed off just as soon as I get there. My original sticker disappeared, oh, about 1980. Eh, back then I didn't think (...) (20 years ago, 25-Oct-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, lugnet.technic)

I really liked the 854 too, but I definitely think you need the number "9" or "6" sticker on the front of each! Jennifer (20 years ago, 25-Oct-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, lugnet.technic)

Re: My tribute to my first Technic Set

(...) I love your modified 8448--that's a pretty big engine on the thing--as well with the fibre optics--nice touch! I couldn't keep the engine in the 8448 attached to the drive train after the modifications for RC'ing. So when the car moves around, (...) (20 years ago, 25-Oct-04, to lugnet.technic)
