  My first swiled LEGO

I called LEGO the other day about a piston that had a broken off pressure port, and got a replacement. The replacement piston has swirls of a darker colored plastic in the yellow cylinder part as can be seen here in the right piston. (URL) not aware (...) (21 years ago, 12-Dec-03, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Connecting New Cylinders

(...) Hi Jonathan, Here is a second version. The gaps between two back to back are not nice integral stud lengths. This makes it a pain. It turns out that the larger of the two gaps is the pretty close to the distance between the outer edges of (...) (21 years ago, 12-Dec-03, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Connecting New Cylinders

(...) Hi Jonathan, I'd never tried this, but was able to come up with this: (URL) problem with it is that the pistons are not in perfect alignment. (URL) (21 years ago, 12-Dec-03, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: JCB JS220 Excavator

(...) A comment on how you might be able to control the speed of pneumatics is to add an orifice to both of the line of the cylinder. This would regulate the amount and speed of the air entering and leaving the cylinder. Hope this gives you some (...) (21 years ago, 12-Dec-03, to lugnet.technic)

  Connecting New Cylinders

Hello I am trying to connect two of the new form factor cylinders back-to-back. Does any one have any ideas? I wish only to use lego parts. Thanks (21 years ago, 12-Dec-03, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Pneumatic hoses

(...) sells fish tanks & supplies. We used it to make a couple of long (1.5m) tubing lengths, it worked very well and was basically a perfect fit on the Lego peumatic pieces. JohnG, GMLTC (21 years ago, 11-Dec-03, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Pneumatic hoses

(...) There's always fuel hose for model airplanes, but that's expensive (high grade silicone to be fuel and heat resistant). Another source is your well sorted car part dealer, they have thin vacuum hoses that might fit. A friend used this and it's (...) (21 years ago, 11-Dec-03, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: 2004 Products see?

(...) What you got there is a regular sized antenna, put through a 1x1 cone, and then through the hole on a 1x1 clip/holder/thingy. You can see the butt of the antenna on the other side. Most defenitly a regular sized antenna. It would be nice to (...) (21 years ago, 10-Dec-03, to lugnet.pirates, lugnet.castle, lugnet.technic.bionicle, lugnet.technic, FTX)

It looks like the trans-orange antennae on the side of the 8380 race set (1st race set listed): (...) is a new, shorter size antenna. Anyone else think so? David "Fuzzy" Gregory (21 years ago, 10-Dec-03, to lugnet.pirates, lugnet.castle, lugnet.technic.bionicle, lugnet.technic, FTX)

  Re: Pneumatic hoses

Hi Morten, for the interconnection of a pneumatic remote control with the model I use the isolation tube of the cables used for the electric installation of a house. It has a cross section of 1.5 mm^2. The isolation fits perfectly and air tight in (...) (21 years ago, 9-Dec-03, to lugnet.technic)
