Re: Pictures of 'Bionicle-Castle' sets, from UK club magazine

Woohoo! That so much rocks! That kicks ass like nothing before! I'm totally enthralled by this GREAT GREATER GREATEST release of all times (and I've experienced a lot of times, including the boring 80ies and early 90ies)! Woohoo! and woohoo again! I (...)   Re: Pictures of 'Bionicle-Castle' sets, from UK club magazine

(...) Yeah, Bionicle Goes Medieval might've actually been pretty cool, but these are freaking Galidor Redux. Didn't they learn their lesson the first time? *shakes head* Though looking at those shields, they might make interesting wings for a space (...)   Re: Pictures of 'Bionicle-Castle' sets, from UK club magazine

(...) Ack. I was prepared to see Bionicle go medieval, but it's the Galidor figure again. (21 years ago, 19-Nov-03, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.technic)

Re: Pictures of 'Bionicle-Castle' sets, from UK club magazine

(...) Color me disgruntled, but this looks curiously like a Megabloks Mecha/Bot/Thing experiment gone awry. That or a Galidor meets Lego Brick experiment. Either way, here's hoping there's some salvageable merit to this little foray. Strange, this (...) (21 years ago, 19-Nov-03, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.technic)

  Re: 8475 troubles

(...) I had similar problems, and guessed it was a current limit problem (I'm an electrical engineer). I went out and bought rechargable nickel metal hydride batteries because they are rechargable and they provide more current. This helped a lot. (...) (21 years ago, 18-Nov-03, to lugnet.technic)

Re: Rumored Castle sets now a nightmare.

(...) Remember though that TLC generally considers that Harry Potter IS Castle right now. So, aside from Lego Direct stuff (like the Guarded Inn, Blacksmiths Shop and Black Falcons Fortress), dont expect to see regular castle on the shelves (...)   Re: Is it ABS?

(...) Which parts specificly? I have an 8466 4x4 off-roader and I cant tell any difference between the wheel hubs (i.e. the chrome things) and the wheel hubs from other sets (such as my 8448 super street sensation) (21 years ago, 18-Nov-03, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: 8475 troubles

(...) Hi Robert I've had the 8475 for over a year now, and I've experienced similar problems. So has a friend of mine. From what I understand, this is what happens: The 8475 motors are capable of drawing a very large amount of current - see Philippe (...) (21 years ago, 18-Nov-03, to lugnet.technic)

  8475 troubles

Hi there Does anybody have troubles with 8475 RC Race buggy? I bought mine last weekend (and built on the airport while waiting to pick up my sister ;). During first test ride was everything fine -- that car really goes nicely even in terrain -- but (...) (21 years ago, 17-Nov-03, to lugnet.technic)

vehicle chasis with articulated steering (using znap, technic and system)

This is a little project that I have been putting spare minutes into. It has independant front and rear steering. The steering (at the momment) is controlled by two sticks. The stick is pushed right or left to get +/- 90-deg of wheel turning. (...) (21 years ago, 17-Nov-03, to lugnet.build, lugnet.technic, lugnet.znap)
