Re: Catalog Codes? (WAS: 8455 cost $99.99 or $89.99 and 8454 cost 69.99 or $59.99?)

(...) Hmm, that code works. Maybe I didn't have the right sets in there the first time. It appears that some sets don't get the discount (including the H'Droid, darnit). Thanks for the help! (...)   Live Axle Suspension

Does anyone have photos and/or Ldraw files of good, working live axle suspensions with good travel, able to integrate drive and steer? I need ideas for a large model i am making. Thanks. Max (21 years ago, 14-Sep-03, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Assistance

Just a follow-up: the .ldr files and some aditional info can be found in the link below. (URL) appears by now that the mechanism works, but that it requires some tuning. If you can help with it, don't hesitate! :-) Pedro (21 years ago, 14-Sep-03, to lugnet.technic)

Mask Of Light World Premiere at Legoland California

I had the unique pleasure of attending the World Premiere for the Mask Of Light move last night at Legoland California. This was a great event complete with celebrities and the red carpet. Only a small handful of invited guests were able to attend (...) (21 years ago, 14-Sep-03, to lugnet.technic.bionicle, lugnet.legoland.california) !

Re: Catalog Codes? (WAS: 8455 cost $99.99 or $89.99 and 8454 cost 69.99 or $59.99?)

The catalog code to get the discounted price is H3101. The only problem is, then you do NOT qualify for the free shipping offer, even if you tack on a little set or two to bump it up over the $99 mark (I tried it). Shipping $75.01-$125.00 is $8.95, (...) Hi Pedro, Maybe you can post your MLCad file on Brickshelf or somewhere and let us see it? It's hard to know how awkward a liftarm you need without seeing your design. Add a "work in progress, feedback requested" note if you want. Keith "Pedro (...) (21 years ago, 13-Sep-03, to lugnet.technic)

Re: Motorizing the pneumatics of set 8455 (Technic Back-hoe Loader)

(...) Hi Brad, I'm a *huge* fan fo the 8455 set. Not only is the completed model a thing of beauty, it is a phenominal deal when it comes to the amount of pneumatic parts it has. My first one was a gift from a good friend so I built the model (...) (21 years ago, 12-Sep-03, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.build)

Motorizing the pneumatics of set 8455 (Technic Back-hoe Loader)

About 2 weeks ago, I purchased the excellent Technic Back-hoe Loader. This is a wonderful set, but it was distracting to have to keep pumping whenever trying to run one of the controls. Therefore, I decided to install a motorized pump so that I (...) (21 years ago, 12-Sep-03, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.build)
