The project is not stopped, but put on hold until it snows again (and that
will be in a month or so). I dont have a good landingstrip in the
summertime. I also had too much to do.

No, show it please. You did take photos of it before you disassembled them?
I have no copyright on airplanes or LEGO  :)

but after i did some covering panels i decided i'll build the wing again

That thin plate covering you come up with was genious. Actually that would
improve my model much. It will provide rigidty and act against twist that
has been a great trouble until now.

I will search for that kind of covering here in my town...
The good thing is that is was transparent too, so you can see the LEGO
bricks inside.
