  Re: new covering

(...) Since you have dear-lego as one of the groups I suppose you'd like them to make this an official part. Can't be done even though you've said bye-bye to the (C). Why? LEGO can't (C) the parts themself since they now are a sort of public domain. (...) (21 years ago, 10-Sep-03, to lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.technic)

Re: Where does people got their inspiration from?

(...) Yah, rub salt in it :P I don't have cable any more thus no more Discovery. When I was at my parents house I was amazed they still run that "continuos zoom-in" clip between shows and comercials etc.. Must have been there a year... To answer (...) (21 years ago, 10-Sep-03, to lugnet.technic)

(...) (URL) Macro Bot> (2 URLs) Mecha Pose # 302 (...) With 17 Worm Gear Boxes comprising the main articulation package, I doubt, I'll ever stumble upon such a cash of great parts to build one again, let alone the part selection issues. Would be (...)   Where does people got their inspiration from?

I see many hours each week on Discovery Channel, and particularly the Engineer or machine programs. I'm now just sitting and watching "Mega-Excavators". Huge machines :) I have never built a Excavator myself, but there ar lots of other machines on (...) (21 years ago, 9-Sep-03, to lugnet.technic)

Re: Catalog Codes? (WAS: 8455 cost $99.99 or $89.99 and 8454 cost 69.99 or $59.99?)

(...) Has anyone found the correct code to get the $10 off? I've seen to recent codes but neither of them work. The first was HB-something, I believe, and the second is A3101. I live in the US and S@H did not knock off the $10 when I plugged in (...) (21 years ago, 9-Sep-03, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: new covering

This is a good idea and conceptually similar to making your own sails or stickers. You should experiment with various types of printable transparency stock as used to make viewgraphs since putting printing on the pieces is the next logical step. (...)   Re: Lego Cat D7

(...) Hmm, no one seem interested in my model! Not a single reply! I wonder if I have it in the wrong subject or what? Anyway, I'm also following up to the modelteam section as well. Chris (21 years ago, 8-Sep-03, to lugnet.technic)

  RE: new covering

(...) interesting...:-) Seriously, this is a very neat way of getting a covered look to a model without losing the look of transparency. Have you actually made any of these panels? Doea the stud locking work even with very thin plastic? I think that (...) (21 years ago, 8-Sep-03, to lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.technic)

  Re: New forum

But seriously, could you get your facts straight before you (...) I actually would have banned you had I not deleted your account outright (twice), so Bryce isn't that far off.   Re: New forum

(...) Heh, that's amusing. You know, I've recently started to hear rumors that I was officially banned at some point, but noone ever bothered to officially inform me when/if it happened. You see, I didn't leave because I was banned. I quit, plain (...) (21 years ago, 7-Sep-03, to lugnet.technic.bionicle, FTX)

(...) Actually Tim the problem is that Purple Dave (aka Dave Lotsawords)is Banned from BZ for being obnoxious, so he's banished to roam the lonely halls of Lugnet.bionicle where really there isn't much interest. But hey it could be worse. There (...) (21 years ago, 7-Sep-03, to lugnet.technic.bionicle, FTX)

How can you make the Pit Droid stand up? (Set 8000)

Hello all, I've had the Pit Droid for a good while, I played with it a lot and can't seem to make him stand up by pressing his eyes: he keeps falling on his back. The only way I can make him unfold is by holding his head with my hand while pressing (...) (21 years ago, 6-Sep-03, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.starwars)
