  Re: Toa Nuva Posters

(...) Just don't mix Testors Model Master with Testors Model Master Acryl. It's like mixing oil and water. Exactly like it, in fact, since TMM is oil-based enamel, and TMMA is water-based acrylic enamel. Color selection on TMMA isn't great unless (...)   #7 axles

Ever wanted #7 axles? 8455 has them. I've never seen them before. Kevin (21 years ago, 18-Jun-03, to lugnet.technic)

8455 - new form factor for large piston and switches

A very generous LPub and Lsynth fan bought me an 8455 as a gift. It arrived today and I'm very excited. I took some pictures of the new pneumatic parts, with the previous generation parts as a reference. The new form factor larger piston is on the (...)   Re: All-Out Lego Drag Racing

(...) I'd compete in it if it was well organized. Track should be long enough that having a quick transmission would help the car win. Such a competition could help transmission development a lot. ExCom (URL) (21 years ago, 17-Jun-03, to lugnet.technic, FTX)

  Re: All-Out Lego Drag Racing

(...) Hi Max, Well, I could use up to 3 of the old style 9v motors, or 1 geared 4.5v motor, or various pneumatic engines - perhaps a limit on the number of cylinders ;-). Are you going to consider classes for different power plants as well as the (...) (21 years ago, 16-Jun-03, to lugnet.technic, FTX)

Re: Technic Supercars: GT and GTS

More pictures and I hope they are interesting. This time I stripped the car so you can see the construction and some details!   Re: EGAD! (pneumatics)

(...) Yes, the switches would need to remember their last set state. Ideally, this would be done through the use of electric pneumatic switches which, when not receiving any power, simply stay in the last position they were set in. If this isn't (...)
