Very nice, but I could not help to notice, that you need to rotate the two perpendicular axle joiners (part 6536) holding the two rubber cables in the front of the car by 90 degres to make it accurate. Just look at the 3 new "Technic" sets. All seem to be made exclusively using the new style rounded beams and plates. I don't even see any traditional beams in any of the sets. Note - having not yet seen these in stores, I'm going by the SAH images. (...) (21 years ago, 14-Apr-03, to lugnet.technic)

It just came to my attention that John Barnes is stopping production of Mindstorms and Radio Control Lego components. According to his article on LUGNET the demand is to great and he can't keep up. Since the demand is so great why not raise the (...) (21 years ago, 13-Apr-03, to lugnet.technic)

(...) The "Spybotics" sets all have the double-bevel gears. If you're lucky, you can find the sets on clearance - I got lucky and scored three of them at 75% off after Christmas at a not-so-local Target... I'm going to hazard a *guess* that Lego (...) (21 years ago, 13-Apr-03, to lugnet.technic)

Ah, it's about time we have a new thread about the possible death of "traditional" Technic LEGO again! I think that, while there is indeed a large abundance of new style technic parts, which I welcome, there is also a major use of traditional (...) (21 years ago, 13-Apr-03, to lugnet.technic)
