Re: Power Puller alternate model ROCKS!

Thanks for the tip Stephane. It looks like they have only posted part of the lessons. I was not able to get lesson 7 or 8. I sent them an email, hopefully they will repost the last two lessons. I was one of those that was not very happy with the (...) (22 years ago, 20-Jan-03, to lugnet.technic)

Re: MOC: Lynkx Mk III Radio Controlled tank

Darn it Tobbe!, Stop making my own tanks look so small! I don't want to spend another $40 on conveyor links! How fast/powerful is it? I would have expected two motors per side to have enough power to even turn it. I still plan on testing gluing (...) (22 years ago, 19-Jan-03, to lugnet.technic)

8457: Power Puller alternate model ROCKS!

Hello all, Back in october I got out of my dark ages and immediately placed a shop at home order for the 8431 crane truck, and 8457 power puller. Even before receiving those sets, I read on their description of the power puller that the instructions (...) (22 years ago, 19-Jan-03, to lugnet.technic)

  Help with construction detail

FUT ---> .castle only Hi, folks! I'm in need of some suggestions as to how to attach this helicopter rotor: (URL) a Technic axle.   Re: Announcing RCX Drag Racing Competition at BricksWest 2003

I just had someone email me a list of questions on the RCX Drag Racing competition to be held at BricksWest in a few weeks. I think a lot of other people might benefit from some of the answers, so I'm posting them here as well. If you are (...)   Motorized control of the 5120 polarity switch

Hi all, I'm trying to control a polarity switch with a motor controlled by an RCX. The position of the switch is monitored by a rotational sensor. The problem I am having is how far the switch moves on return to the middle 'off' position, it tends (...) (22 years ago, 18-Jan-03, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Besign of battery box

Thanks I wonder how to add the battery box into a car and still have it easily accessible. I read the page about motors, good page, but can it pull a 40-50 stud long 6 wide vehicle on a smooth surface? Standard lego, motor and battery box on the (...) (22 years ago, 17-Jan-03, to lugnet.technic)

  Besign of battery box

Hi! I am thinking of a design, which includes technic and a 9V battery box. My questions 1 where is the connection for power out? 2 how does it open? 3 what is the 1x2 raised part? I'll use a 5120 switch and a motor to run a small vihicle, something (...) (22 years ago, 17-Jan-03, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: MOC: Flipper

(...) The next step is to make one that changes direction when it flips over. The neat mechanism in 8457 and the pull of gravity will solve that for me (I hope). Of course it has to be bigger and use at least two standard 9V motors. (...) In fact (...) (22 years ago, 17-Jan-03, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: MOC: RCKillough Mk III

(...) It's a five channel Sanwa in the 27 MHz band. Here in Sweden that's an open band and all radio controlled toy cars etc. use 27 MHz (but some go really crazy if I switch on my transmitter *evil grin*). My father gave it to me when regulations (...) (22 years ago, 17-Jan-03, to lugnet.technic)

  8558 for $15 at walmart.com

For anyone intertested, walmart.com is selling the cahdok / gahdok (#8558) set for $15 on clearance. I didn't really care for the set built to the instructions, but it has lots of great parts including a dozen of the double action click hinges.
