Yeah, I discovered this a few weeks after posting that message.  I think the
web site didn't list the Houston store when I looked (or I totally missed
it), but the catalog they mailed me did list the Houston store.  My wife and
I are thinking of going the first week of January.

We went to IKEA last Saturday to buy lots of IVAR shelving and some other
furniture.  We bought all of the other furniture, but they were out of most
of the IVAR shelving, arg!  Guess I'll have to do another 7 hours of driving
in a few weeks.  :-)

I finally got back to IKEA about a week ago.  They had just enough IVAR
shelving in stock in the size I wanted (7 foot tall, deep shelves), so I
bought several hundred dollars worth of it.  Oops.

And I am very happy with the IVAR!  My Lego room is once again usable for
building, my old space sets have a place of honor to be displayed in, and the
room smells like fresh pine.

Thanks for the recommendations all!
