For Lego elemnts, I use the blue/red storage bins from sets 545, 56,
etc.  These are great 6/9 compartment bins that use a 16x32 baseplate as
the lid.

For catalogues and Mania Magazines I use ring binders with sheet
protectors.

I use a combination of methods for storage. For standard bricks I use the Lego bins from 3026 sets, each holding a single size. Within them I have the bricks sorted by color and stored in Gladlock plastic bags. I then have several large Rubbermaid (...) (26 years ago, 29-Sep-98, to lugnet.storage)

Nothing very elaborate for me. Just two small-parts cases, a couple of shoe boxes, plastic tubs, and various freestyle buckets sorted by 1xn. I also have some sets displayed up high in my daughter's room up. The day she discovers how to get to them, (...) (26 years ago, 2-Oct-98, to lugnet.storage)

I use the following: * Large rubbermaid stackable drawers for the big stuff - all of my basic bricks are in one - another serves as my unsorted container - the other two hold several compartment containers described below * Shoe box size containers, (...)
