  Re: Storing the goodies.

  Re: sort your .... off

I've got to get a better handle on my sorting. I've got 7 Akro Mills containers (about 300 separate compartments), about 30 plastic "shoe boxes", about 30 cardboard shoe boxes, 6 large Technic trays, and about 400 to 500 baggies. Everything is (...) (26 years ago, 6-Oct-98, to lugnet.storage)

  Re: Storing Boxes

(...) It depends on the box for me. I try to save the bigger ones, thinking that "someday" I'll use them for storage. Some boxes are just so "cute", like Pizza To Go, that I can't collapse them or toss them. Black Thunder box is cool too, as it's (...) (26 years ago, 5-Oct-98, to lugnet.storage)

  Re: sort your .... off

(...) Oh yeah. Those work well too. Got one of those I forgot about that holds my 2x8+ plates and hitch couplings. Also, after me and NLS devoured the contents, I confiscated a transparent jelly bean box that we received one year for Christmas. It (...) (26 years ago, 5-Oct-98, to lugnet.storage)

  Re: Storing Boxes

(...) Yep. Same problem. I keep those bigger boxes with 3-D walls whole. Right now they are forming a "shelf" in the back of the closet to put other things on top of! Gary GaryLouie@EarthLink.Net (26 years ago, 4-Oct-98, to lugnet.storage)

  Re: Storing Boxes

(...) The big boxes, like 8480 and 8880's boxes, I use with the trays to store some of the bigger, less oft used pieces. Some of hte other bigger boxes, I use for the storage of all of the smaller boxes, which are flattened, and inserts thrown away. (...) (26 years ago, 4-Oct-98, to lugnet.storage)

  Re: Storing Boxes

For a long time I threw away all of the boxs. A few years ago I started saving them and quickly ran out of room. Within the last year I've reached a compromise with the problem. I currently flatten the boxes and save them that way. I have a problem (...) (26 years ago, 4-Oct-98, to lugnet.storage)

  Storing Boxes

How are the box collectors dealing with storage? I've filled three closets with Lego boxes and they are starting to be a problem. I've decided to open up all the end flaps and store the boxes flat. I'm discarding all the internal packing material (...) (26 years ago, 3-Oct-98, to lugnet.storage)

  sort your .... off

I got the see trough (clear) tackle boxes that open up at one end only they feature many compartments and run between $ 2 and $ 5 a piece. Shallow ones are good for small pieces while the deeper ones are good for the bigger parts (duh) for the (...) (26 years ago, 3-Oct-98, to lugnet.storage)

I, too, use ziploc bags for sorting the axles. I keep all of a particular length in a bag, and all of the bags in a little storage container. (26 years ago, 3-Oct-98, to lugnet.storage)

  Re: Storing the goodies.

Nothing very elaborate for me. Just two small-parts cases, a couple of shoe boxes, plastic tubs, and various freestyle buckets sorted by 1xn. I also have some sets displayed up high in my daughter's room up. The day she discovers how to get to them, (...) (26 years ago, 2-Oct-98, to lugnet.storage)

(...) I just this summer organized all my paper. I used large size comic book protectors and cardboard baskings. Works great for everything execpt the european A4 stuff and much less expensive than page protectors. (26 years ago, 1-Oct-98, to lugnet.storage)

  Re: Sorting/Storing Catalogs

Hi: (...) That was me who requested them! It is interesting to note that Legohas used both US 8.5 x 11" and European A4 paper sizes for some of their instruction books. Jim hughesj@one.net (26 years ago, 1-Oct-98, to lugnet.storage)
