(...) This may seem obvious, but if you're using a wire to connect it to a battery box, is it the wire? Does the battery box work properly? Does the battery itself work? Try checking out those parts too. -Bryan (20 years ago, 4-Feb-05, to lugnet.parts, lugnet.storage, lugnet.general)

(Not sure exactly where this should go) I have an old (say about 7-8 years old) electric light and sound brick 1 x 2 with top lamp that has never given me trouble until now. I tried clearing the muck off the contacts, rearranging it in various ways, (...) (20 years ago, 4-Feb-05, to lugnet.parts, lugnet.storage, lugnet.general)

Too bad they aren't taller, so you could put large baseplates vertically in them. Note - if you belong to Ebates, or search online, you will find $30off150 coupons, netting you 14 boxes for $123.58 plus tax. Free shipping at that point. That knocks (...) (20 years ago, 23-Jan-05, to lugnet.storage)

(...) Hi there, good question! I have most of my parts sorted by type and then also by colour for the most common types. I have most of it (what is not kept in the original box, of course) in storage boxes with many (four types: 13, 17, 15-23 or (...) (20 years ago, 22-Jan-05, to lugnet.storage, FTX)
