Re: What's the difference between the Plano 3700 and 3770?

(...) The 3770 had almost twice as many positions for the dividers so you can better tailor the size of the compartments. The 3770 also supports "angled" dividers (intended to fishing tackle with big "lips"/"spoons" on the front). It should be noted (...) (20 years ago, 24-Jun-04, to lugnet.storage)

  Re: downsizing

I think the idea is make a "working set" depending on what you like. Some sorted, some not. I keep a good amount of sorted Lego in 3 39-drawer cabinets. In these I am able to store a limited amount of plates and small parts of all colors. Most of (...) (20 years ago, 23-Jun-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.storage)

  Re: downsizing

(...) I have just started reaching the point where it is a chore to store my LEGO, and I have been coming up with my own storage solutions given my space restrictions. The thing that faces me is that I have no one area reserved for LEGO building, (...) (20 years ago, 23-Jun-04, to lugnet.storage)

  Re: downsizing

Hello, while I would not say I have too much Lego, I certainly have a chore in maintaining it all. So, what I do is keep one color out that I can work with. Try that.   Re: Summer Goal: Complete Sort & Storage

Well ... here's an update. I did some scattered sorting over the last week ... mainly locating some Bricklink orders from last fall, still in bags, and sorting them into containers. I was going to spend ALL today sorting out bricks, but a (...) (20 years ago, 31-May-04, to lugnet.storage)

Re: Storage / Display case for the 10152

(...) Two ideas. A plastics company here sells Lexan display cases out of their retail outlet. Similar boxes turn up on eBay for footballs. (20 years ago, 28-May-04, to lugnet.storage)

Re: Storage / Display case for the 10152

(...) (snip) (...) Yes. If that's inconvenient for you, check Walthers online. I think a G scale case cover might be about the right loading gauge Here's an example (URL) (you would lose the track base and just use the cover presumably) but it's way (...)
