Re: Talon's Nest will close in 2 weeks, help me find my floor!

Ah, bachelorhood.... I would like to publicly thank Tom and Frank (via Mike) for posting those pictures. I'm going to show my wife these pictures so she'll see that my collection isn't anywhere near as bas as she thinks it is. In fact, since Tom is (...)   Glad A+++!

I've found that the little round Gladware containers work best for storing almost any small piece. They can store over 50 minifig heads and they don't pop open too easily! I'll try to get some pics up sometime. Dave. (22 years ago, 30-Apr-02, to lugnet.storage)

  the LEGO Desk Pal

Sorry if this was already reported.. I was surprised to not find it in a search. My Feb 2002 issue of The Toy Book had news from LEGO Writing Systems about this pencil holder thingie. It should have been visible at Toy Fair this year (?). I don't (...) (22 years ago, 28-Apr-02, to lugnet.general, lugnet.storage, lugnet.mediawatch)

Re: Question about larger storage drawers

(...) I change over to small 1-gallon to 1.4-gallon bins, stacked on Ikea wire shelving. It works fairly well. I don't think I have any basic bricks anywhere in drawers anymore! best LFB (23 years ago, 14-Mar-02, to lugnet.storage)

  Question about larger storage drawers

I've finally started to sort my LEGO. I;ve been using a drawer system suimilar to the Akro-Mils Storage Cabinets from a company called Stack-On. I found the cabinets at Home Depot for $10-$15. You can see a picture of them here: (URL) (The light (...) (23 years ago, 14-Mar-02, to lugnet.storage)

Re: House Hunting (was K'nex or something

(...) Well, I just signed onto a 2 bedroom, 2 bath town house style apartment with double deep garage. It's 1245 square feet. I haven't decided exactly how things will be laid out, but I may build a train layout in part of the garage. It should (...) (23 years ago, 14-Mar-02, to lugnet.off-topic.fun, lugnet.storage)

Re: House Hunting (was K'nex or something

(...) And I haven't been evaluating positions of closet doors and such in my apartment search... And the only reason I'm looking at two and three bedroom units is so I can have space for visitors to sleep... Frank (23 years ago, 13-Mar-02, to lugnet.off-topic.fun, lugnet.storage)

House Hunting (was K'nex or something

(...) There's an old running gag in Model Railroading circles: you can tell the diehard MRR on a househunting trip, because the first thing he(1) does is check out the basement to see how the columns are laid out and where the furnace room is and (...)   Re: "Fixing" movable dividers in Plano boxes

Don't glue it, bite it . . . with scissors. Cut the edge of the divider to make barbs. Problem: Loose divider between bins slips and the contents of adjacent bins merge. Acceptance Test: The divider remains seated when sweaty fingers move up one (...) (23 years ago, 12-Mar-02, to lugnet.storage)

This is an awesome idea! In fact, I've begun the very same project a couple times, but never run it to completion. One feature that I wanted the most in my version, and would very much like to see in your version is integration with BrickLink. (...)   Storage bins from BIG LOTS.
