In Battlestar Gallactica they use "Languatron" devices that actually allow you to hear spoken alien words (like our "real-world"[whatever that is] news interviews) followed by English (or whatever them children of the stars call it). That seems most (...) (24 years ago, 11-Jun-00, to lugnet.starwars)

It doesn't happen in my family much 'coz we're all better in hebrew, but my parents' friends' and their kids often switch languages, for example when the mom talks Hebrew to the kids (her native language) and the kids, who've lived in (...) I was bilingual from the start so a few things happened. Spanish and English do not seem like separate languages to me. Instead it's like having two vocabulary sets. I think in either. Sometimes they mix but I usually speak whichever language is (...) (24 years ago, 13-Jun-00, to lugnet.starwars)
