R2-D2, R5-D4, and Battle Droid are definitely figs.  Not minifigs, because • they
don't use the right parts, but figs.  It takes great creativity to use • their
parts as anything else but what they have been designed to be.


Thanks for the compliment!  I used R2's head and one leg as the pivot point
for my B-wing alternate model.

I have to think some of the battle droid parts will show up in some of the
great microfig models of the future.
