I certainly hope that you are right, but just about every Wal-Mart, Target and
K-Mart that I visit has plenty of Star Wars Legos stocked; I would expect that
Lego would try to sell more of the existing SW sets before they put out a new
batch that will only compete with existing sets for sales. But maybe I'm
wrong.
Any takes on Lego's previous pre-Christmas strategies (bearing in mind that SW
is a whole 'nuther ballgame)?

| (...) Well, I saw the sets for 1999 coming out in early November and December. This happened at both Meijer and Toys R Us to a lessor extent. I think most retailers get these sets early, and most, due to the Christmas craziness in the toy aisles, (...) (25 years ago, 9-Nov-99, to lugnet.starwars)

| Uhm, hate to burst yer hopeful bubble but...last year, at Christmas, I got a new catalog in a little stocking stuffer set (Aquanaut or something) that had the new catalog with Star Wars and Rock Raiders.
