I'm not sure why TLG is making some of these SW sets in pieces, held together
by connector pegs. Darth Vader's TIE and more recently the engines on the
Naboo Fighter (1). I have substituted a 2x2 plate for the 2x2 tile which
allows the engine to be solidly connected to the body and not flop around.

What's up with the droids? Both of the droids in my Mos Espa Podrace set keep
loosing their arms. The sockets are too big to fit anywhere close to snug.
Anyone else have this problem or should I call CA and complain?

Ben Gatrelle

(1) The Naboo Fighter is my favorite of all the EP1 sets. I am SW complete
except the Sith Infiltrator which I'll wait for a % off sale to purchase (and
#7131).

(...) Same problem here . . . I don't know why. I also have to agree with the Naboo fighter as being my favorite. -Jonathan (26 years ago, 7-May-99, to lugnet.starwars)

(...) I thought the engines were detachable so that you could pop them off quickly as you're wooshing it around the house -- for when they get hit by enemy fire. BTW, I like the way the tail spins around on the peg -- it allows you to hold the model (...) (26 years ago, 7-May-99, to lugnet.starwars)

(...) Well i think it is so you move sections between sets, right now My Sith Infiltrator has a set of very non-stock wings on there ((hint they black with blue accents...). Yesterday I had the cockpit from that Tie Fighter fitted for yet another (...) (26 years ago, 7-May-99, to lugnet.starwars)

Hi, (...) Well, if you don't like that, you're not gonna like the Sith Infiltrator--not one, but TWO levels of peg- connection on the wings alone. The "nose" is also peg-connected. The thing can come apart into five pieces (not counting the Speeder (...) (26 years ago, 8-May-99, to lugnet.starwars)
