They had too much practice at close range so they couldn't shoot straight at
long range.

(...) Some friends of mine and I had this theory that the basic Stormies can only shoot well if they aren't a planet. They couldn't shoot two guys, a girl, and a piece-of-fur on the first Death Star (it's round, therefore it qualifies as a planet as (...) (21 years ago, 22-May-03, to lugnet.starwars)
