Travis,
The designs are intended solely for the Death Star project that I've
mentioned in the original post. That's what I meant by localized compared to
the moonbase project that had designs for compatibility across individual
projects.
Thus it's less constrained as to how the individual modules will connect and
their dimensions. Of course there will be commonality when it comes to say
attaching hallways between two modules like the control room and detention
block. And differences when the trash compactor would be attached to a
hallway where the other end leads to the hangar bay.
As for connecting different levels, I've already decided that it's going to be
by elevators attached just outside the edge of the baseplates. I'll post
updates from time to time as I complete the modules.

| Sounds like you'll have fun. If its just a diorama type of thing and not a modular project that other can contribute to, why bind each module to the baseplate?
