I just picked up the Battle Droid technic set at TRU for $20 on sale. This is my first technic set and I must say I was very impressed with the quality of this one. Dollar for Dollar this set is worth every penny. Not only does it include three (...) (24 years ago, 23-Nov-00, to lugnet.starwars)

(...) It makes sense, I guess. You don't see the faces so why waste the money on the printing. Or, maybe you are just looking at the back of the head and forgot to turn it around (don't laugh, I did that once late at night). But about the TIE Pilot, (...) (...) Very nice - but I think your question can be answered by pointing out that Ties don't have deflectors, let alone shields.
