Mark S.: not to get your hopes up, as I can't be sure since I haven't found
any of the 2001 sets yet, but if you look at
http://collectibles.echostation.com/fbtb/2/sys09.jpg
it sure looks like a new blue-grey colour in 7313: look at the feet and
ankles: you have classic light grey next to both blue and dark grey, but
there appears to be an entirely new blue-grey for the front of the feet.

I'm not sure, but I'm hoping that's what it is. It IS possible TLG has been
listening to us; way back when FBTB held their survey on what they could do
to improve the Star Wars line the most, I wrote in that they should include
the correct pale grey and blue-grey. (We seem to have started getting pale
grey with the Mosaic sets, and now blue-grey with 2001 LOM sets). Since 7313
appears to have 1 pair of blue-grey wings, I'm sure I'll be getting multiple
copies for the correct Tie Fighter colours (along with every other LEGO SW
fanatic).

I'm pretty sure that's the lavender color we've seen in Scala.

I'm not sure how I would feel about a lavender TIE.

(...) Mark: nope, it's not. I ran out and bought a 7313 (what the heck, they're 20% off at Zellers, so it came out to just over $22 (about $15 $USD)) and the pieces are blue grey (very close to the shade Jay rendered his Ties in, but a little more (...) (...) Jay: ditto (the rear of the Tie Advanced prototype is especially well done... TLG's is much too thick).
