  Technic Stormtrooper, 3PO

After close examination of the picture of these sets, I don't think they're too bad. I zoomed in real close on the Stormtroopers head, and zoomed out real far too, and the amazing thing is the more I looked at the pic, the more it looked like a (...) (24 years ago, 27-Oct-00, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: 4th Imperial shuttle figure....

(...) I'll definitely admit that the person in the cockpit is a traditional smiley faced minifig... Might be a placeholder, might be an imperial guard. Does it really look black? I'd guess he's wearing dark gray, judging from the picture... But then (...) (24 years ago, 27-Oct-00, to lugnet.year.2001, lugnet.starwars, lugnet.general)

  Re: Watto's Junkyard

(...) Noticed him, (supposed to be Aldar Beedo, from the leaked list event some weeks ago) but figured out that it was just a waste of ABS like Sebulba from the podrace set, so ignored him. The other podracer parts also look familiar but I can't (...) (24 years ago, 27-Oct-00, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: LEGO 2001

(...) I'm not sure but I think you all three talking about the same dome (dome canopy of the vehicle 7312 that is). I agree with Tim, since the shining on it seems like it is not a regular smoke gar as we know from SW sets. I feels like chromed at (...) (24 years ago, 27-Oct-00, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: LEGO 2001

  Re: 4th Imperial shuttle figure....

(...) I'm assuming this figure looks like the naboo security guard from set #7124, only with different colors. Maybe black and red? Cool! (...) At most 1 but IMHO there isn't going to be any. The cockpit is only 4 studs wide and looks like is may be (...) (24 years ago, 27-Oct-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.starwars, lugnet.year.2001)

Re: Ep IV tribute movie using lego chrcters

(...) I don't think one exists yet... I'm currently spear-heading an effort to do the entire film in lego, but I'm working on getting a domain for it first as well as setting up guidelines for the creation and what not. My idea at the moment is to (...) (24 years ago, 27-Oct-00, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: 4th Imperial shuttle figure....

(...) Because the figure in the cockpit has a regular smiley, not the Emperor's head... it's visible enough to at least make that out. However, it's possible that the fig was simply in there when the shot was taken and they just figured that the (...) (24 years ago, 27-Oct-00, to lugnet.year.2001, lugnet.starwars)

Re: What is with the Technic Stormtrooper?

(...) Lego could've made some smaller quarter spheres, in two different sizes with printing for the eyes and mouth, and laid those over the front of the Stormtrooper head... that would have given it a more "realistic look" while keeping the parts (...)   Re: What is with the Technic Stormtrooper?

(...) Tony, I've been using two or three (and on my new mech four) together to make hip and shoulder joints that can hold 6-7 pounds. I use the "clip" sockets and not the flat feet type ones. Oh and like John says if you're talking about the throw (...) (24 years ago, 27-Oct-00, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.technic, lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: What is with the Technic Stormtrooper?

heh heh... Who'll be the first to build Yoda out of the Statue of Liberty? Mindstorms Yoda: if there's a Droid Developer Kit and a Dark Side Developer Kit, what will they call this one? (24 years ago, 27-Oct-00, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.technic, lugnet.year.2001)

  Re: 4 handed Emperor?
