Re: Sith Infiltrator 7151 Alternative Model

At my local Wal*Mart they have photo disks, photo CD's and online storage. I looked ino this one day and you get low resoulution images for 3$ on a disk, high resoulution images on a CD for 7$!!!! Too expensive. But then they have online storage (...) (24 years ago, 26-Jul-00, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.starwars, lugnet.publish)

Re: Sith Infiltrator 7151 Alternative Model

Thanks Joseph, but it's not as cool as some of your, wicked mecha models! And of course you can link up to the pictures, that's what I was going to e-mail you about, if you could put this model on your website... Thanks again! (...) shame! (...) very cool, mladen! and you were just trying to tell me you don't do alternate models, shame shame! this one looks pretty dang good. i myself have yet to tackle using those click-hinges in a model. would you mind if i added a link to your images for (...)   Re: Lego survey in Millenium Falcon set

(...) So, how wide *is* it, Johnny? </McMahon> ;-) I was thinking about trying to find some for a MOC, since the picture in the catalog makes it look like it might be wide enough for side-by-side seating, but I gather than it's not. True? Thanks, (...) (24 years ago, 25-Jul-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: FunBrix Pic of the Week #2

(...) I believe Dan Jezek auctioned his incomplete MF off last month to fund brickbay IIRC...Larry P. beat my bid, but I don't think the reserve was met I don't remember hearing anyone winning it. John (24 years ago, 25-Jul-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Um, not to be a pain, but I don't think this discussion belongs in lugnet.off-topic.debate... It probably doesn't belong in lugnet.starwars anymore either (and does it really need to be in lugnet.general?) Follow-ups to: lugnet.admin.general (I wish (...) (...) As a somewhat avid comic-book reader, I can tell you this ad has been appearing for the past few weeks (three or four) in any number of Marvel and DC (including Image) books, not just Vertigo. eric (24 years ago, 24-Jul-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.starwars)

Also, saw the Mindstorms expansion set (the Mars package) in a new issue of PC magazine. There is a picture on the table of contents page, and the set is reviewed in the rear of the magazine (At Home ? section). This is a bit sketchy, because I (...)   FunBrix Pic of the Week #2

Hi All, The second FunBrix Pic of the Week has been selected! Ben's LEGO Millennium Falcon. It nearly a year old, but it’s still a great model and picture!   Lego references found in print

Spotted LEGO in a couple of magazines recently: the first, a full-page ad for the UCS sets in a Vertigo comic. (URL) the URL in the ad is wrong! The second, an article in Shift magazine.   Re: Has Anyone Joined the Dark Side Yet?

Re: I realized I want Star Wars!

(...) I think the LandSpeeder floats higher than that. What I use is a 2x2 brick - I've got some transparent ones from old Lego sets, but you could just pick a colour to match the shelf you sit it on. You have to put it on the centreline, exactly (...)   Re: I realized I want Star Wars!

(...) We pay more in the UK too, but seriously the SnowSpeeder for me is the best set around. It's good value compared to other Lego, and has a lot of rebuild potential. Also, it's from the original trilogy - the Episode I stuff just isn't the same. (...) (24 years ago, 23-Jul-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Sith Infiltrator 7151 Alternative Model

Great! Thanks for the tip...I just hope they can store the picture in a MAC compatible format. I'm sure there are ways, I'll let everyone know how it worked out. I just gotta get my Imperial Shuttle on the site. Peace, ou (24 years ago, 23-Jul-00, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.starwars)
