Re: Where are these survey answers coming from? (was: New Survey up for LEGO)

(...) Tim, wouldn't you agree, that's a very odd request for them to make? (Not so much the name part but the position part.) (...) So if I happened to casually mention this whole thing to a LEGO IP attorney (in a meeting coming up in a couple of (...) (24 years ago, 2-May-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: New Survey up for LEGO

I went with the Falcon, AT-AT and it was a toss up between a Sand Crawler (which we have actually seen) and the Imperial Shuttle. Although an all silver brick Queens Nubian Starship would be very cool. I wouldn't waste my votes on anything that (...) (24 years ago, 2-May-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Why can't we have a Lando: Lego's Race policy

Hi everyone - I'm new. I've been reading through a lot of the comments about the Lando figure, and my feelings are that surely it's all getting a bit deep. As far as I'm concerned, one important point is that we may well get a Lando figure in the (...) (24 years ago, 2-May-00, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.general, lugnet.off-topic.debate)

Re: Where are these survey answers coming from? (was: New Survey up for LEGO)

(...) Tim, If all this is true then thats fine. What my point is is that with all the secrecy involved your survey lacks a certain amount of credibility in my eyes. If this person were to reveal themselves and open a discusion with us like Brad (...) (24 years ago, 2-May-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Where are these survey answers coming from? (was: New Survey up for LEGO)

Guys, it's really pretty simple: my contact has asked not to be revelead by name or position. And I will respect that. Trust me that they have given me proof that they are legit, and I would not have features like "Ask LEGO!" if I wasn't sure that (...) (24 years ago, 2-May-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Princess Leia up close and personal

(...) Hi Jeff -- good to hear from another SWLego/Lugnet Dark Ages escapee. theforce.net posited an interesting theory a while ago, in an attempt to answer the eternal question "Jarjar Binks -- why?" (URL) (24 years ago, 2-May-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Star Wars LEGO Design Contest II

(...) (except (...) Good idea! This sounds better than my attempt with "Best nerver build before model". It means that one can enter an "old" X-wing that is build before the official model came out (judged by the use of its parts) and that you can (...)   Re: Millennium Falcon availability

Mychal, (...) No date was given me by US LS@H. I asked and they said they didn't have one, and that their date for availability at S@H was still listed as 16 June (!!). Whether or not you'll have to wait until 1 July depends on where you are in the (...) (24 years ago, 2-May-00, to lugnet.starwars)

  Millennium Falcon availability

There was a post today that according to S@H, the MF was shipping now, does anyone have any idea when it would be in stores. I really hate the idea of waiting until July 1. (24 years ago, 2-May-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Why can't we have a Lando: Lego's Race policy

(...) I think that's pretty insulting, actually. It'd be kinda like using a black head (with white inking? shades of the minstrel shows) for a black man. Or using LEGO yellow for Oriental people. (The only reason that's not insulting now is because (...) (24 years ago, 2-May-00, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.general, lugnet.off-topic.debate)
