Re: Princess Leia up close and personal

(...) Huh? I don't remember this at all. Star Wars, AKA Star Wars IV: A New Hope, was one of the hottest movies ever, at the time it was released. People standing in long lines to see, many people seeing it repeatedly, etc, etc. In many ways, it was (...) (24 years ago, 28-Apr-00, to lugnet.starwars)

MTT and AAT, anyone have assembled pics

Still waiting for them to show up in the local stores. Anyone that purchased it from Lego SAH, any pictures scanned? Impressions of them? Jason F. (24 years ago, 28-Apr-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Princess Leia up close and personal

(...) Aye, that's a good point. When all 6 of them are finally released (prolly in a big ol' 6-pack in 2005-6) I'll devote an entire day to sitting in my Den (hopefully by then I have one) and staying there from the first minute of Ep. 1 to the end (...)   Re: Princess Leia up close and personal

I have to agree with Will on this issue. Since Episode 1 came out, I have listened to all the negative comments that were said about it. I think Will summed up my opinion pretty well, except that I didn't mind Jar-jar. One thing I will add is that (...) (24 years ago, 28-Apr-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: New Survey up for LEGO

(...) Mabie this is an idea for the guild of bricksmiths in conjunction with lego direct bulk ordering: the guild makes a model and a set of instructions then they can make a few large orders to lego direct to get the grey parts and they are on (...) (24 years ago, 28-Apr-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Princess Leia up close and personal

(...) When I first saw the movie I thought Jar-Jar was the worse character ever. Then I saw it a second and third and fourth . . . ah, you get the picture . . . time. Well Jar-Jar grew on me a little and I thought I could at least stand the guy. I (...) (24 years ago, 28-Apr-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Shiri Dori wrote in message ... (...) LOL! It looks like TLC managed to grab that very "I hate the world" look Leia had on her face during certain parts of the movies <g> Sardonically, DBR (24 years ago, 28-Apr-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: New Survey up for LEGO

Ok first... My three were the B-wing, AAT and the Falcon. Second, I was sitting here thinking... if LEGO did come out with a $300 Falcon set... it MIGHT not do that well at retail. I am not that sure what the cost for them would be for packaging (as (...) (24 years ago, 28-Apr-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: New Survey up for LEGO

Now what would be really cool is if they made the UCS Falcon near-minifig scale so you could convert it. :^) I suppose for it to remain below $250 it would need to be pretty close to the correct scale anyway. ~Mark (...) interest, (...)   Re: New Survey up for LEGO

(...) Totally. (Please note that the following rave is based on a minimum of personal experience of the sets in question.) If I'm only going to get one UCS model, I want the Falcon. Compare the System X-wing and the UCS X-wing (in terms of scale, (...) (24 years ago, 28-Apr-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: New Survey up for LEGO

(...) Hmm... I'm guessing that the #1 UCS set that we all want is... Millenium Falcon! Followed by AT-AT and perhaps a Star Destroyer... Those were my votes in that order by the way. AND I'd be willing to pay $200+ if the model is good! :) Bryan (24 years ago, 28-Apr-00, to lugnet.starwars)

  New Survey up for LEGO

LEGO wants to know what UCS sets you'd like to see. If you have an interest, stop by and put in your vote! Tim (URL) if the link doesn't show, use the "From Bricks to Bothans" link on the .starwars main pag (24 years ago, 28-Apr-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Princess Leia up close and personal

(...) Aye, that abomination and waste of plastic is NOT a head. I honestly don't know what it is, but a head it is not. Lucas should have scrapped Jar-Jar from the get-go. -Chris (24 years ago, 28-Apr-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Princess Leia up close and personal
