  Re: What makes a minifig?

(...) I was recently informed that his name is "Crankey". Just thought I'd share. In my book, he's no minifig. He's a minifig head with a structure of pieces attached to it. I'd say that he is no more a minifig than the skeleton head/crystal ball in (...) (25 years ago, 10-Apr-00, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: What makes a minifig?

(...) Actually, some of them do...the ones in the Time Twisters sets had legs, as do the ones from the DACTA Castle set. There's not much *point* in them having legs, because of the body cover...but they're there. I think a better example would be (...) (25 years ago, 10-Apr-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Yet Another Episode 1 Question

To All, Thanks for all the responses, let's see if I get this right now: Starting scene on viewscreen: Queen=Queen Discussion in Castle: Queen=Queen (My thoughts are that she became Padme before the Trade federation invaded Naboo) Captured: (...) (25 years ago, 10-Apr-00, to lugnet.starwars)

(...) I stand corrected. I Never read any of the Episode 1 books but that explaination fits with no movie contradictions so... -Lord Insanity (25 years ago, 10-Apr-00, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: What makes a minifig?

(...) There was a big conversation about this a while back. What it all boils down to is personal judgement, really. In my view, Pit Droids aren't "minifigs", nor is Sebulba. It is tempting for me to say that what draws the line for me is legs and (...) (25 years ago, 10-Apr-00, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: What makes a minifig?

(...) I think this one came up a while ago...you might want to search the archives. Anyway, "If memory serves me correctly", here's what was generally agreed upon: Minifigs are made of minifig torsos, minifig heads, and minifig legs. Nobody argued (...)   What makes a minifig?

I am curious, as I don't have an extensive knowledge of LEGO. Sebulba is a "piece", and characters that are made of parts like Pit Droids or Gasgano are not minifigs. Could someone make sense of all of it? Tim (25 years ago, 10-Apr-00, to lugnet.starwars)

EVERY time we see Padme, she is the Queen - according to several "official" books, the Queen has five hand maidens, and there names are listed, and none are called Padme. So, the Queen does not swap names (...) (25 years ago, 10-Apr-00, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Some questions

In lugnet.starwars, Mark Sandlin writes: <referring to the tan little thing that comes with the Naboo Fighter> (...) Yeah, that about sums it up. It is worth noting, though, that the cover places it in the hangar on the Droid Control Ship (the cover (...) (25 years ago, 10-Apr-00, to lugnet.starwars)

I think it's just a "miscellaneous piece of equipment." (...) (25 years ago, 10-Apr-00, to lugnet.starwars)
