Re: 2000 Star Wars in Australia

(...) fiddling with the numbers shows the system sets as being 1.5 to 2 times more expensive (best 7115, 7134 worst 7104) but the technic sets are consitently only 1.33 times. There is no way shipping is so expensive as to justify 1.5 to 2 times (...) (25 years ago, 29-Feb-00, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.starwars)

  2000 Star Wars in Australia

Hi team, Sorry for the provocative subject header, but you're all here now. This is what I have gleaned from LEGO Australia. Looks like we'll need Kerry Packer's job to afford it all. I've used the current Aussie Peso exchange rate of USD$0.614 AUD (...) (25 years ago, 29-Feb-00, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.starwars)

Re: Star Wars Episode 1 Video Tape

(...) According to Amazon.com, the VHS release date is April 4, 2000. But they've started taking orders and it's a wicked hot-seller already! As of today, in fact, it's the #1 and #3 top-selling VHS videos there. (#1 is the widescreen edition, #3 is (...) (25 years ago, 29-Feb-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Vehicle year/building year? (Was: Imperial Guards (was: Re: Sir Steve interviews someone from Lego)

(...) Exactly. It's that, and one other thing: How many movies do you see the Millenium Falcon in? X-Wing fighters? TIE fighters? How many movies do you see the base at Yavin 4 in? And at that, how many scenes bother to show it? The action was on (...) (25 years ago, 28-Feb-00, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: lego minifig scale..?

(...) The average figure that was worked out between the X-wing and Y-wing was 2.85 studs per meter. (Ben's post: (URL) adopted this figure in Castle World as well. ((URL) (25 years ago, 28-Feb-00, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: lego minifig scale..?

(...) A stud is 8 millimeters square. A minifig sans headwear is 40 millimeters. Depending on your value for human height (say 6 feet or 1.82m) Then our conversion is: 8 mm 40 mm ----- = ----- X 1.82m Thus, X = .364 meters/stud, or 2.75 studs per (...)   lego minifig scale..?

I know someone once had a scale of such and such a number of studs to meters. I think it was something like 2.875 studs to 1 meter. I am sure Ben Fleskes had used this scale when he built his Millenium Falcon. I know someone else used it for lego's (...) (25 years ago, 28-Feb-00, to lugnet.starwars)

  Wanted: 7111 back side

Hello, we lost the instructions for the 7111 (small droid starfighter) set. Does anybody happen to have a picture of the backside construction? TIA, Christian (25 years ago, 28-Feb-00, to lugnet.starwars)

(...) Two words: Credit Cards. Buy enough on discount to resell and defray your own costs. Justify it as "me time." (...) Target will almost certainly get the UCS sets. I wouldn't be surprised if Meijer does, though. best Lindsay (25 years ago, 26-Feb-00, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Pit Droid question (#8000)

I'm the type of person that has to have them when I see them setting on the shelves in stores. I can't stand hearing about them from friends and reading about them here.   Pit Droid question (#8000)

Hi Star Wars fans, I finally got my Technic Pit Droid today, but I can't make out what this alternate model is.
