Re: Delta7 Aethersprite class light interceptor with Syluire31 hyperspace docking ring

(...) Dave - Thanks for the comments! I hoped when I posted this MOC up that people would like it (and I would get more feedback). The color choices also reflect the fact that the JSF was built about a year to 18 months before the hyper-ring, so I (...) (17 years ago, 19-Sep-07, to lugnet.starwars, FTX)

Re: 10178 Power Functions Walking AT-AT

(...) I've got it and showed for the first time at the LEGOfest in Torino (15th-16th Sept 2007). Here you can find some pictures of the model, the box, the building and there is a short movie too where you can see how good it can walk! (2 URLs) (...)   Re: Delta7 Aethersprite class light interceptor with Syluire31 hyperspace docking ring

Hey Jason, Very nice looking model! Even though it's crammed with lots of bricks and plates, it doesn't look crammed. The proportions are excellent, especially given the tiny model you used as your inspiration. It looks like you used bley for the (...) (17 years ago, 3-Sep-07, to lugnet.starwars, FTX)

Re: SW droids - are they minifigs or just a bunch of parts?

(...) Exactly. Is this just sellers having a row about each others' item descriptions? As a buyer I don't give a toss. I'd like to be able to buy odd things like the Gonk and Treadwell droids as single entities or as parts, same as I do with whole (...) (17 years ago, 31-Aug-07, to lugnet.starwars, FTX)

Re: SW droids - are they minifigs or just a bunch of parts?

(...) Which one sells for the highest profit? ;) (...) How are the complete droids any different from minifigs? How are the separate parts any different from minifig body parts? Both seem to have a market. I don't understand why there's any conflict (...) (17 years ago, 23-Aug-07, to lugnet.starwars, FTX)

SW droids - are they minifigs or just a bunch of parts?

Based on heated discussions/threats () on a well known lego selling site, what does the Community think about Star Wars droids: Should they be treated as minifigs or are they just a collection of mostly non-specialized parts? Should there (...) (17 years ago, 23-Aug-07, to lugnet.starwars, FTX)

  Re: Exclusive Gold Chrome C3PO

(...) Well, by the same token, Princess Leia's used to go for what? Like $50+ bucks? Which was back when she was only ever available in the original Millenium Falcon. And she wasn't even chrome-plated! But with all the hype about there only being (...) (17 years ago, 16-Aug-07, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.market.appraisal)

  Re: Exclusive Gold Chrome C3PO

(...) If you figure that gold is selling at about $660 a troy ounce, and I'd say that it would take at least 2 troy ounces to make a minifig and probably more; that would put a solid gold minifig well above $1000.00, and probably closer to $2000.00.   Re: Exclusive Gold Chrome C3PO

(...) We have two C3PO figs from the 1000steine lottery (my brother and I were lucky), but indeed it is extreme to pay 200$ for it. On the other hand the 7750 trains are also sold voor $350+ (17 years ago, 16-Aug-07, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.market.appraisal)

  Exclusive Gold Chrome C3PO

Seriously Folks, I was just curious to see if anyone had received an "Exclusive Gold Chrome C3PO" in any of their Star Wars sets and if they might be selling them on eBay. So I checked. There are idoits on eBay selling them for $200.00 at the Buy It (...) (17 years ago, 16-Aug-07, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.market.appraisal)
