Re: The End of the ISD - An illustrated Star Wars Story

(...) Of course, it's indisputably a classic. (...) Oh, we are... both my kids love this (SW fans that they are), they've read the original and sequel several times and giggled hysterically all the way. Well done as always! Kelly (20 years ago, 13-Feb-05, to lugnet.starwars, FTX)

Re: The End of the ISD - An illustrated Star Wars Story

(...) I wish there were more stories like that. Some jokes are hillarious too! Nice work, Adrian. Terry (20 years ago, 13-Feb-05, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: The End of the ISD - An illustrated Star Wars Story

(...) Hey now, are you saying Gungans are "Animals"??? They don't have very good table manners (my dog is neater), they're not very bright (my cats are smarter), and they are very annoying (a rabid racoon stalking you is less annoying!). But still, (...)   Re: Why do they never watch the movies?

(...) Guys, look back a dozen posts and you'll see a thread called "Modding the new LEGO lightup minifig", by the original creator of light-up light sabres (not TLC!). There you shall learn all. ;] KDJ ___...___ LUGNETer #203 (20 years ago, 13-Feb-05, to lugnet.starwars)

In lugnet.starwars, Joe Strout wrote: .. (...) My guess is that it works the same as in the 7237 Police station. There is one officer that has a light-up torch and his hand looks the same as Vaders hand.. I own that one and you have to keep the head (...) (20 years ago, 13-Feb-05, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: The End of the ISD - An illustrated Star Wars Story

(...) Adrian- Susan and I loved it. Looking forward to your next adventure. (For a moment, I was expecting a cut to the ISD drop event at BrickFest/PDX. Nice of you to spare all those critters the high G impact.) -Ted (20 years ago, 13-Feb-05, to lugnet.starwars, FTX)

Re: Why do they never watch the movies?

(...) He never flew a ship like this in the movies, but how do you know what he did in his off hours? We never see him go to the bathroom either, but I wouldn't object to the assertion that he must have had one somewhere. I find it interesting that (...)   Re: Imperial Inspection available at Shop@Home...

(...) Perhaps. I was just reading some speculation on Eurobricks.com to that effect. Of course, Lego could always surprise us... for the Christmas season. Ben Medinets (20 years ago, 11-Feb-05, to lugnet.starwars)

Why do they never watch the movies?

(...) I find it hilarious that the text for this set says: "Darth Vader commands this ship" when he never flew a regular TIE. He had his own ship, and TLG made the set. This is the kind of thing that bothered me even as a kid. I always thought to (...) (20 years ago, 11-Feb-05, to lugnet.starwars)

  Imperial Inspection available at Shop@Home...

Re: Naboo Starfighter in Technic figure scale

(...) Nice! I really like the curve just behind the cockpit curving back toward the tail. Good lines there. Too bad there's no real way to get better contrast between the yellow and gray, though - I'm spoiled by the chrome effect of the UCS (...) (20 years ago, 9-Feb-05, to lugnet.starwars, FTX)

Naboo Starfighter in Technic figure scale

Here's a Naboo Starfighter in technic figure scale. (URL) I thought after I bought the first minifigure-sized Naboo starfighter kit that a model of this ship could do with more detail and gentler angles.
