Re: Selling my MOC Gunstar (maybe)

(...) On the contrary, he is indeed respecting Mark by making it very clear that Mark Sandlin was the original designer of the model, and by stating that multiple times. Furthermore, the Gunstar IS his model to sell, because he owns the parts and (...) (21 years ago, 13-Nov-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.starwars, FTX)

  Re: BT1 meets Star Wars

(...) And to think I almost didn't click the second link! Roger, such a great idea and execution. When I read BT1 I was like "Huh?", not having the right mindset, and I'm so glad I checked out the post. The speeder is sharp and the form was well (...)   Re: Selling my MOC Gunstar (maybe)

(...) When we look at the amount of money involved in purchasing a house I just don't see how selling the Gunstar is going to get you closer to the money you need. I would have to agree with the others and suggest that, if you have that many Legos (...) (21 years ago, 12-Nov-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.starwars)

Re: Selling my MOC Gunstar (maybe)

(...) Are you crazy or just stupid (I don't mean that as a diss)? Don't sell your LEGO models/pieces/etc. That's not right. It's just...wrong. Your LEGO pieces have probably been accumulated over years worth of time and money. If you sell them, (...) (21 years ago, 12-Nov-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.starwars, FTX)

Re: Selling my MOC Gunstar (maybe)

(...) Hiya, I can speak with hindsight so please bear with me here. I sold off a collection of over 300,000 parts last year. I won't try to discourage you from selling your collection if that is what you really WANT to do. I would recommend against (...) (21 years ago, 12-Nov-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.starwars)

Re: Selling my MOC Gunstar (maybe)

(...) I would ;) (...) Seriously, I want to know what life is about without indulgences. I mean you're buying a house--not entering the Peace Corps. (...) There are a lot of examples of people selling their entire collections, especially on Ebay, on (...) (21 years ago, 12-Nov-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.starwars)

Re: Selling my MOC Gunstar (maybe)

(...) I know what it's like to need money and have to sell your MOCs. I understand how that can hurt. But what you're doing right now is wrong. You are not respecting Mark and you are not respecting the community. The Gunstar is not your MOC to (...) (21 years ago, 12-Nov-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.starwars, FTX)

Re: Selling my MOC Gunstar (maybe)

(...) You could sell your wife and keep the Lego? Just kidding! Just kidding! Anne's suggestion of selling the models broken down to parts as a collection sale may be your best option. Make sure to post to Lugnet, FBTB and Auctionbrick if you (...) (21 years ago, 12-Nov-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.starwars, FTX)

Re: Selling my MOC Gunstar (maybe)

If you REALLY need to sell your LEGOS, either sell them on Ebay, Bricklink or AuctionBrick. I'd sell them as one collection, and see if someone local to you wants to buy them so you don't have to ship them. 1) You'll make the most money off of it 2) (...)   Re: Selling my MOC Gunstar (maybe)

(...) I think you should break down your collection back into the original sets or collections of parts or some other form of lots. I buy alot of LEGO on Ebay but I'm never searching for MOCs, it's either parts, or star wars sets or parts from star (...) (21 years ago, 12-Nov-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.starwars)
