Re: Star Wars Tauntaun MOC with Opening Belly

Super rad... I like you minifig stuff just as much as your supermaxifig stuff. Did I miss the photo of luke all tucked in safe and sound? When are your .ldr files going public? -tk (21 years ago, 5-Oct-03, to lugnet.starwars)

10030 Imperial Star Destroyer LDraw File

What?!? You say. Someone actually was actually sadistic enough to model this in LDraw? Well the answer is yes and you can find it here: (URL) I have too much time on my hands or I am extremely bored, either way I have no life. -Orion P.S. I cheated (...)   Re: Star Wars Tauntaun MOC with Opening Belly

(...) I agree. The horns did look a little small and too straight. So, I changed them just now (new pictures). I have a feeling that I'm going to be making a lot of little changes here and there to this model. -Mike (21 years ago, 4-Oct-03, to lugnet.starwars, FTX)

Re: VOTE: Do I open my Cloud City now or wait until Xmas?

(...) The (LEGO) kid in me says rip it open and build away. However, the softer but not feminine side of me says to have patience and wait, and pretend that she gave it to you on Christmas day. Regardless of when you choose to open it, you have a (...) (21 years ago, 4-Oct-03, to lugnet.starwars)

VOTE: Do I open my Cloud City now or wait until Xmas?

My copy of 10123, Cloud City arrived today. Technically it's my Christmas pressie from my wife - but she says I can open and build it now. This places me in a moral dilemma - do I just get on with it and have nothing to do on Xmas day, or do I hide (...) (21 years ago, 3-Oct-03, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Star Wars Tauntaun MOC with Opening Belly

(...) Mike, Awesome! I especially love the guts. :) The way the minifig sits in the saddle (sticking his legs straight into the back) reminds me of the old dewback model for the action figures when I was a kid. The one thing I dislike from this (...) (21 years ago, 3-Oct-03, to lugnet.starwars, FTX)

Re: Cloud City shipping in NA

(...) I've heard several confirms specifically for Canada this morning, but can attest that US backorders are going out now as well. Moved from backordered to shipped just in the last 2 hours (just online, no email or charge yet.) I hadn't ordered (...) (21 years ago, 3-Oct-03, to lugnet.starwars)

Star Wars Tauntaun MOC with Opening Belly

A Tauntaun in minifig scale. He has a moveable tail, arms and mouth. A minifig can sit inside the Tauntaun's saddle. The Tauntaun's belly opens up to reveal a compartment where a minifig can be placed inside -- just like in Empire Strikes Back! (I (...)   Re: Star Wars Golfcarts Batch 2!

(...) These are awesome! They're like a mini-and-a-half! I missed the first batch of these when you released them. Great concept, and really well build mini-versions of the vehicles. But I second Ross' question...where are the golf clubs? :) Adrian (21 years ago, 2-Oct-03, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Star Wars Golfcarts Batch 2!

(...) Marlon, those are seriously cool! But I just have one question - where do I put my clubs???? ROSCO (21 years ago, 2-Oct-03, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: New MOC: Fambaa

(...) Hey Dave, Thanks for the feedback. It isn't articulated. While basing this off my original was easier that was a feature I had to give up. (2 URLs) (Bruce) (URL) LEGO @ Bruce's Homepage> (21 years ago, 2-Oct-03, to lugnet.starwars, FTX)

Nute Gunray Star Wars Miniland Scale Figure

He's green, wrinkly, talks kinda' funny, sometimes uses a moving chair to get around instead of walking, and is a prominent character in Star Wars Episodes One and Two. Nope, he's not Yoda. He's Nute Gunray, and if you're not careful, he'll have the (...) (21 years ago, 29-Sep-03, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.build, lugnet.space, lugnet.announce.moc, FTX) !

  Re: New MOC: Fambaa

(...) I like it! A good rendering of the curves of a big, lumbering shield projector. I especially like the claws and the beady little eyes. Is there any articulation of the joints? Very nifty.. Dave! (21 years ago, 29-Sep-03, to lugnet.starwars, FTX)

Re: The Alphabet Project Strikes Back!

Jon- I tried to post a response to this a couple of times (the number one reason my posting is way down this year, by the way) and IE crudded out because of the very laggy connections I get from here in Africa. So this isn't nearly as detailed (...) (21 years ago, 25-Sep-03, to lugnet.starwars)
